I often thought that crowns represented halos, but then one day, I saw this image in my mind of people in circles singing and beaming which makes a crown. Why should only royalty and religious folks have halos?
People together holding hands in a circle became a symbol for a crowning achievement.
I've only held hands together in a circle like this at spiritual retreat places and sometimes get ornery, but I do think we all need to practice stuff like this more often.
